Mikaeus is the highest authority of Avacyn’s faith, holding the title of Lunarch. He and his circle of Bishops rule over Thraben and the rest of Innistrad.

Mikaeus is a godly man who tries to instill the faith of Avacyn in Innistrad’s populace at all costs, for he knows that her light is the only thing keeping the darkness at bay.
